My background includes more than 25 years in the construction business, the last 15 of which I have been a self-employed general contractor, specializing in high-end residential additions, kitchens and bathrooms. I have a thorough knowledge of how homes are built, and I also know how all the different parts function and work together as a whole. This level of background and experience gives me more insight into the quality of the construction of your home. While older homes cannot be held to the same code standards as new homes, I am familiar with the codes and what would make sense for your home.
